Very shortly after this conversation took place I learned that Led Zepplin in fact invented 'Lo-Fi' using cunning methods to give their albums a raw, and almost live sound on their LPs. Hmmm. NATURALLY this brought me to thinking... Does my day to day routine rely on mainly lo-fi, or hi-tek items to ... how do you say... SURVIVE in this crazy world? Time to take inventory. Mind you. I'm stuck in the middle of the 'outback' which is as Lo-Fi as it gets.
Lets see:

Also, I have been out of any sort of cell phone coverage for over a month, so this item is been reduced to nothing more than an alarm clock

I would say that box wine is low-fi, though I would otherwise agree with your assessments. And the flannel/hoodie combo? Totally hi-tek masquerading as low-fi.
